After they were done playing we gave our dogs some treats before heading to play in the canal. (The peak in the upper-right corner of the picture below is called Pinnacle Peak. It isn't too far from our house.)
As soon as we got to the canal all three dogs ran and got into the water. They must have needed to cool down. Grunthor loves to fetch the ball in the water, Adie likes to play defense and get the ball away from Grunthor, and Usha just likes to swim and explore.
This part of the canal is where Grunthor cut his foot a month ago. Luckily we enjoyed an outing where none of the dogs got hurt.

That sounds like a ton of fun! That canal is so cool, were you able to find that glass that cut Grunther?
What a beautiful area. It looks like your family had such a good time. We need to go down that way and have you show us the hidden areas to play. : ) We could even bring our 4-wheeler. We haven't seen you in so long.
That water looks cold! Are those icecubes floating in the water? Your dogs are hyper. Looks like a fun day for an outing.
