The Goo Goo Dolls are one of my favorite bands. I like them so much I actually buy their albums and DVD's rather than downloading them.. I was in disbelief that the Goo Goo Dolls were coming to my old school SUU for a concert!! As soon as we heard about the show Amber and I got her little sister Amanda, who is a current SUU student, to get us tickets since the current students got first chance at the tickets. Amanda made the call and we were lucky enough to get 8th row seats on the floor.. It was a great show and we had a lot of fun. I hope that SUU continues to try to bring in bands that are a little more current.I found this clip that someone did at the concert. Other than the girl screaming the lyrics off key it is a good video of a night that I will always remember. (it is a little jerky but it is ok) The Goo Goo Dolls played a lot of my favorites including "Iris" "Black Balloon" "Name" "January Friend" " Broadway" "Let Love In" "Before it's to Late" and "Slave Girl" (They do not play Slave Girl song often! It was the 1st time I have heard it live and I have seen 4 different recorded concerts)
It was a great night and I had the time of my life! Amber told me during the concert that she had never seen me smile that big.

Golly, I feel like we missed out. Didn't want to go, but now I'm sad we weren't there to share such a great memory and fun times with family.
That is so awesome!!! I am so glad you guys got to go. Did Dad end up going? I remember he had tickets.
